Let's Plan Your Next Event
Day 1
- 11 AM - Meet and greet by our representative at Godkhali Boat Jetty (the last motorable point from Kolkata), then board your private boat for the transfer to Gosaba Island Jetty. Enjoy the scenic river junctions during the 10–15-minute boat ride. Upon arrival at Gosaba Jetty, you will be assisted with your transfer to the resort at Dulki Village by e-rickshaw, passing through the charming village pathways of the Sundarbans and observing local daily life along the way (approx. 20 minutes).
- On arrival at Hotel Sonar Bangla, Dulki, check in to your room (check-in time: 1 PM). The resort is located on the riverbank directly facing the Sundarbans Tiger Reserve. Enjoy a welcome drink and freshen up.
- 1:30 PM - Lunch at our multi-cuisine restaurant, serving fresh local dishes. Leisure time at the hotel.
- 4:30 / 5:30 PM - Sunset cruise, offering a breathtaking view of the river at dusk. Spend your evening relaxing amidst serene nature.
- 6:30 PM - Enjoy a local tribal dance performance by villagers (optional, on direct payment). You may also rejuvenate yourself at the resort’s spa.
- 8:30 PM - Dinner at the restaurant. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2
6:30 AM – Wake-up call. Enjoy the fresh morning air and prepare for an exciting cruise.
7:30 AM – Relish a buffet breakfast at our restaurant, Breathing Roots.
- 8:30 AM – Check out and board the boat with assistance. Depart for the Sajnekhali Tiger Project Complex to view wildlife from the watchtower. Visit the Sajnekhali Tourism Complex, then continue towards the Sarakkhali Canal and Pirkhali Islands to explore the mangroves through narrow creeks and channels. Afterwards, visit the Sudhanyakhali Watch Tower for another thrilling view of the forest. This enjoyable cruise through the Sundarban Tiger Project’s creeks will be a memorable experience.
- 1 PM – Return to the hotel for lunch at the restaurant.
- 2 PM – Proceed to Gosaba Jetty by e-rickshaw, followed by a private ferry transfer to Godkhali Jetty.
- 2 PM – Arrive at Godkhali and continue your journey to your Kolkata hotel, railway station, or airport (approx. 3 hours’ drive).
2 Nights & 3 Days Suggested Itinerary
Day 1

Day 2

- 7.30 AM – Enjoy a buffet breakfast at our restaurant, Breathing Roots.
- 8.30 AM – Assistance to board the boat. Depart for the Sajnekhali Tiger Project Complex to view wildlife from the watchtower. Visit the Sajnekhali Tourism Complex and then proceed to the Pirkhali Islands to explore the mangroves through narrow creeks and canals. En route, enjoy the Sudhanyakhali Watch Tower for an exciting view of the forest. Today, you will also visit the Dobanke Watch Tower, where you can walk through the canopy inside the forest camp. Experience sightings of caged animals along the canopy walkway, with views of the surrounding forest. Here, Spotted Deer are kept under the Rehabilitation Centre. Your cruise continues through Matla – Sea Face (the viewpoint of the Bay of Bengal) – crossing the five-river junction, where vast stretches of water surround you. This fun-filled cruise through the creeks of the Sundarban Tiger Project Area will be a lifetime experience. (We suggest carrying a packed lunch during the safari.)
- 4 PM – Return to the hotel. Relax and enjoy the in-house activities at the beautiful luxury resort. You may also rejuvenate yourself at the resort spa.
- 8.30 PM – Dinner at our multi-cuisine restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3
- 6.30 AM – Wake-up call. Enjoy the fresh morning air on this beautiful day. This morning, you may take a village walk and interact with local residents, experiencing the life and culture of neighbouring communities who navigate their day-to-day routines in this unique mangrove landscape.
- 8.30 AM – Enjoy a buffet breakfast at our restaurant, Breathing Roots.
- 9.30 AM – Check out and proceed to Gosaba Jetty by e-rickshaw, followed by a private ferry transfer to Godkhali Jetty.
- 10.30 AM – Arrive at Godkhali and continue your journey to your Kolkata hotel, railway station, or airport (approximately 3 hours’ drive).

*Entry and exit timings for the park may change during the summer and winter seasons. The hotel reception will inform you of the next morning’s cruise timings in advance.*
*Forest safari remains closed every Tuesday as per Forest Department regulations.*
Documents Required for Forest Permit :
- Foreign Guests: Original Passport with Visa for Forest Permission. A Scanned Copy of the same should be emailed to the Kolkata Corporate office.
- Indian Guests: All guests need to carry original photo ID and address proof as advised. The resort has the right to refuse entry to any guest not carrying a government-approved identity proof (Driving License/Aadhaar Card/Passport/Voters ID card) for all travellers. Please note that a PAN card is not a valid document for check-in.
